Nick Lepetsos

As president of First American State Bank since 2005, Nick Lepetsos directs the institution’s daily operations including capital formation, lending, asset/liability management, liquidity planning, and information technology.  He contributes more than 20 years of experience in the financial service industry to the bank’s executive team. Nick began his commercial banking career with a local bank holding company, where he spent nine years, before moving into the private equity and investment venture capital arena. His extensive experience in real estate lending for both residential and commercial projects has made Nick a valuable leader at First American State Bank since he joined the bank as vice president in 2002. 

He serves as the corporate committee co-chair of the First American State Bank Fitness Festival benefiting the Cherry Creek School District Community Asset Project, is a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Council and serves on the committee supporting fundraising events for Kempe Children’s Foundation.

Nick earned his master’s of business administration from the University of Colorado in 1999 and a bachelor of science degree in economics from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. Nick is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin.
